The College now
known as Govt. Model Science College, attained the status
of model college in 1985 and academic autonomy since
1988.Sprawling campus, well-equipped laboratories, computer lab,
conference room multimedia facilitated seminar hall and rich
museums of Botany, Geology and Zoology completes the picture of
a well-established educational institution.

 The day of
20-02-2007 was a special day for jabalpur and for Department of Geology in
Particular when it was in National News because of Prof. G.P. Singh who found two
Dinosaur’s Fossil Eggs in the Lameta formation for Jabalpur area during the field work
excursion of M.Sc. students. |
